Sabuk Nusantara 73 Delivered to Support Inter-Island Connectivity

By PT. Krakatau Shipyard

PT. Krakatau Shipyard has successfully completed and delivered the Sabuk Nusantara 73, a government-commissioned passenger vessel built to support Indonesia's inter-island sea transportation network.

The Sabuk Nusantara 73 is part of the national program to improve maritime connectivity across Indonesia's vast archipelago, particularly serving remote islands with limited transportation access. The vessel was built to full classification society standards with a robust marine-grade steel hull optimized for long-range voyages in variable sea conditions.

Key features of the Sabuk Nusantara 73 include an optimized passenger capacity layout for inter-island routes, a steel hull construction with full structural integrity verification, class-approved construction throughout, and compliance with all SOLAS safety requirements.

The project was completed on schedule and within budget, demonstrating PT. Krakatau Shipyard's capability to execute government-scale shipbuilding projects with precision. The vessel is now in active service, contributing to Indonesia's national maritime connectivity goals.

This delivery adds to our growing portfolio of government and commercial vessel projects, further establishing PT. Krakatau Shipyard as a reliable partner for Indonesia's maritime infrastructure development.
