PT. Krakatau Shipyard is proud to announce the successful completion of a comprehensive assessment conducted by the Indonesian Navy Headquarters (Mabes TNI AL) through the Naval Procurement Office (Dinas Pengadaan TNI AL) in January 2023.
This assessment evaluated our shipyard facilities, production capabilities, quality management systems, and technical expertise across all aspects of naval vessel construction. The positive outcome confirms PT. Krakatau Shipyard as a qualified and capable supplier for the Indonesian Navy's vessel procurement needs.
The assessment covered key areas including our aluminum fabrication hangar, CNC workshop, welding quality standards, and project management capabilities. Our team of experienced naval architects and engineers demonstrated proficiency in building military-grade aluminum patrol vessels to strict Indonesian Navy specifications.
This milestone builds upon our existing authorization from the Ministry of Defense (Kementerian Pertahanan RI), which was first granted in 2012 and renewed with a full defense product manufacturing license in 2019. Together, these credentials position PT. Krakatau Shipyard as one of Indonesia's trusted domestic defense shipbuilders.
